How our Directory is Sorted

While many directories list their members in alphabetical order, Diaper Pin does not. We feel that this gives an unfair advantage to those in lower end of the alphabet. Cloth diapering businesses come and go. Some businesses close down for a period and then re-open again.

Diaper Pin has chosen a sorting method that gives higher visibility to those businesses who are active, have high reviews and have seniority with Diaper Pin. We feel this gives our visitors more valuable information.

We use an algorithm which gives preferences in the following order:

• directory highlight members
• members with ratings, giving precedence to those with more and higher ratings.
• most recently updated information, older directory members with up-to-date information will appear higher than new ones.

Our Directory Icons *

	Customer's Choice/Mom's Pick: A business with 15+ ratings (in the past 18 months) averaging 4.5 or higher.
	Sold By Mom/Dad: WAHM-, WAHD- or family-owned site that sells diapers, diapering accessories, cloth pads, or nursing supplies.
	For Mom: The business sells items for mom (feminine napkins, nursing, maternity).
	Made By Mom/Dad: The business sells WAHM-Made/WAHD-Made diapers, diapering accessories, cloth pads, or nursing supplies.
	Resources: The business provides patterns for making diapers, diapering accessories, or cloth pads, or is a wholesaler of cloth diapers, pads, or accessories.

• Cloth Diapering: Cloth Diapers, Cloth Covers, Cloth Doublers/Liners, Cloth Wipes, Cloth Swim Diapers, and Products exclusively designed for Cloth Diapering (e.g. Diaper Shower).
• Non-disposable Feminine Protection: the Keeper, cloth pads, Diva Cup, etc.
• Advocacy Products for Cloth Diapering and Cloth Feminine Products.
